Limited Edition Bookbinding

Building on years of experience garnered from Jensen Bindery and BookLab, Inc., BookLab II focuses primarily on boxmaking and the production of fine limited edition bookbindings. Over the years we have gained a reputation for successfully taking on challenging projects, often employing exotic materials and unusual book structures to help small press printers and publishers realize the vision for their unique books. For a sampling of the type of projects we are capable of doing please browse the portfolio section of this website.

Some recent editions:

On Being a California Poet, essay and two poems by Dana Gioia, published by Gabriel Rummonds with support from Bridwell Visiting Artist Fellowship.

Window Poems by Wendell Berry, published by Press On Scroll Road.

The Firebird’s Nest by Salman Rushdie, published by the International Institute of Modern Letters Rainmaker Editions.

Something Lived, Something Dreamed: Urban Design and the American West by William McConough, published by The Red Butte Press. (Some images of the book can be viewed here by clicking the “SEE IMAGES” link at the end of the text.)
